So, apparently, the remake of "Nightmare on Elm Street" is being shot at Hersey High School (my alma mater). Kind of cool, if you think about it. I am curious what, exactly, about Hersey High seemed to give off the right vibe for this movie....
Anyhow. Whilst some alumni are finding themselves at the center of various situations, a part of me can't help but think this is what a public relations specialist calls 'a distraction'....

The guy who created YouTube went to Hersey too - they just had a 5 year anniversary or something like that... Hersey is GREAT! haha.
Hersey sucks. I say this as a MacArthur graduate who has always held a grudge against Hersey because everyone who was going to Hersey had a snooty attitude, because they were going to the "better" school.
Hersey seems to have stolen Wheeling's crown as shadiest NW suburban school, and I am ok with that!
I'm not sure if I'm being completely sarcastic or not, but I am assuming you won't take this the wrong way. In the event that you don't, I apologize. :-)
