I know it was a government program and not just an expression. I am sick of it, nonetheless.
P.S. Henry the Honda does not now, nor has he ever, qualified as a 'clunker'. Just sayin'.

Well, it was a very popular program. It's over now though, so hopefully it will be fading from common usage. This term has not really entered my annoyance radar at all. Perhaps because I don't watch tv ads?
