Random thought - where was David Cook?  Too busy for the show that made him not just some random dude?

So my boss burned me a copy of David Cook's Analog Heart solo album from his pre-American Idol days (some benefits of a job can never be cut despite the shitty economy).  I must say, it's a lot better than his American Idol works (probably because it's original and not just a remake of some song I didn't like in the first place).  I must recommend checking it out!
