St. Patrick's Day In Chicago

I love my new t-shirt.  It's from the same people who brought me one of my other favs - the bayside tigers shirt:

Where is this goodness from, you ask?  Strange Cargo.  (They owe me a free shirt for this one.)  I love their stuff.

Anyhow.  I'm really looking forward to St. Patrick's Day in Chicago.  I'm booked on a trolley!

I'm Booked!

So, this Halloween, I will be going on a trolley party. I love trolley parties. This will be my fifth in the past year and a half. I think I'm going for the world record for number of trolley parties. I, singlehandedly, am working to keep the trolley industry in business.

Anyhow.

As I've said before, I need a Halloween costume. Not just costume. A WINNER. Pam and Palin were grand slams out of the park. No one has made any suggestions for me so far. I am thoroughly, thoroughly disappointed.

Now accepting Halloween costume ideas.

Birthday Shoutout!

I just wanted to throw a quick shoutout to one of my friends and apparently, one this blog's regular readers - Happy Birthday Ellen!!!   The combination of good friends, good beverages, downtown Chicago, the bathrooms at the Hilton, the hot pink dress I coveted, Sluggers, 80s music including but not limited to "Like a Prayer", and the Wrigleyville area was nothing short of superb.

P.S.  Ellen, I hope this merits a comment by you!!
