On the way to work (walking toward the el), I passed a house with a snowman holding a bottle of vodka. I think this summarizes the city of Chicago's feelings right now quite well. It's too bad the bottle was empty.

Are you sure that was a snowman? Seems to me there's a good chance it was frozen bum.
How do you know the bottle was empty? Did you put it there?
